Shobdon Chapel is combined with Kingsland chapel for worship and are part of the Leominster Circuit, with meetings on alternate Sundays in Shobdon & Kingsland.
Circuit staff are: The Rev Mary Jolly tel: 01568 612406, The Rev Judith Chapman tel: 01568 610106, both live in Leominster.
The Leominster circuit includes: Risbury, Luston, Shobdon, Kingsland, Bearwood, Presteigne, Eardisley & Weobley
Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Thursday of each month at 10.30am - all welcome
Prayer Group - an informal group meets on the first and third tuesdays of each month at 11am. If there are particular matters or people you would like prayed for please talk to John Andrews on 01568 708277
NEW ARRANGEMENT - "COFFEE & CHAT" will now be held on the FOURTH THURSDAY of each month from 10.30 a.m. to 12 mid-day.
Tha Anniversay of Shobdon Chapel fals this quarter and will be celebrated with worship on Sunday 9th May at 11am, and the worship will be lead by Miss Andrea Sheppick

A Chapel Anniversary service is held in May each year, the 2011 date t.b.a.
To mark the creation in September of the new "Shropshire & Marches Circuit", which will include our existing Leominster Methodist Circuit, two special services will be held. First a "Service of Farewell to the Leominster Circuit" will take place at Green Lane Methodist Chapel, Leominster, at 3.00 p.m. to be conducted by the Revd John Clark followed by a tea.
Secondly, on Wednesday 1st September the launch of the "Shropshire and Marches Circuit" will take place at 7.00 p.m. at Saint Chads, Shrewsbury, to be conducted by the Revd Dr Leslie Griffiths.
We wait to know the pattern of services from September onwards following this amalgamation of circuits but assume for the time being services will continue fortnightly at Shobdon as at present.
HARVEST FESTIVAL in September will this year be celebrated at Kingsland Methodist Chapel Date t.b.a.
COFFEE MORNING & MINI-BAZAAR- 10.30 a.m. until mid-day on Saturday 13th November 2010
HOLY COMMUNION is celebrated at 10.30 a.m. on the first Thursday of each month conducted by the Revd Robin Rogers.
Please note there is NO SERVICE held IN AUGUST.
