Shobdon Church. St John the Evangelist.
To reach this by car you will need to exit the village (Leominster direction), take the first turn left and at the next junction turn left into the tree-lined avenue. On foot take the entrance opposite the Bateman public house. The church is several hundred yards up the tree- lined avenue, which passes between two large landscaped lakes.
The church itself is built on the site of the old Norman church for the second Viscount Bateman (1756), it is in the style known as Strawberry Gothic, and was repaired and redecorated in 1971. The roof was repaired in 2004. Services are held weekly. Burials are interred in the cemetery, which lies to the east of the village.

Shobdon Arches.
These are situated to the north of the church at the end of an avenue of trees, which culminate at the top of a slope. They are the Romanesque style chancel arches of the Norman Church.
Shobdon visitor centre is opposite the church and provides snacks, teas and toilets.
Shobdon village. A restored cider mill and press is situated on the village green.
The local stores and school are situated at the western end of the village and the timbered Bateman Arms is at the eastern end.
Shobdon Airfield.
Although this is a working airfield providing flying, helicopter, microlight and gliding lessons, visitors are welcome. The airfield cafe provides food and toilets.
The Shobdon Loop Walk.
This is a 5.5-mile ramble starting from the visitor centre opposite the church.
Castle Mound ShobdonIn the parish of Shobdon, 1km north of the village of Shobdon, lies a round; flat topped mound 150ft in diameter and 10-12ft high. The surrounding ditch has been recently filled in on the North and East sides.
