KINGTON RURAL NEWS ALERTS

 

For your information the following Crimes have been recently reported in the Kington Rural Area

 

SHOBDON - Theft

 

Incident Number 0515S 230112 The theft took place between 08:00 on Wednesday 18th January and 17:00 18th January , Shobdon Airfield, Shobdon.

 

Between the above hours a male, described as in his 50’s, balding and of stocky build entered the premises in a blue coloured Ford Ranger. He then proceeded to remove an 18ft white coloured toilet trailer, direction of travel unknown.

 

DILWYN – Theft from Motor Vehicle

 

Incident Number 0138S 190112 This theft took place between 16:45 Wednesday 18th January and 05:45 on Thursday 19th January on the A4112, Dilwyn.

 

People unknown have removed the front bumper and number plate from a white Layland DAF horse Transporter (J802 EOW), 20 litres of diesel have also been stolen from the vehicle. A nearby electric fence battery was also taken.

 

WEOBLEY – Theft of Motor Vehicle

 

Incident Number 0717S 210112 This theft of this vehicle took place between 18:45 and 23:30 on Saturday 21st January 2012 at Burtonwood, Weobley

 

A blue Vauxhall Astra Convertible WV05 WZH was stolen from outside a property at Burtonwood, Weobley. It was later found burnt out at Hopleys Green near Woonton.

 

WEOBLEY – Theft from Motor Vehicle

 

Incident Number 0644S 090112 This theft took place between 20:15 and 20:30 on Monday 9th January 2012 from Kington Road, Weobley.

 

This green Audi A4 VRM P765 UFH was parked outside Whitehill House in Weobley. The victim had left his car for 15 minutes on his return he found the front nearside passenger window had been smashed and £800 stolen from inside the glove box.

 

MONKLAND – Theft from Motor Vehicle

 

Incident Number 0073S 160112 The theft from this motor vehicle took place between 01:30 and 07:40 on Monday 16th January from Moss Hill Farm, Monkland.

 

Persons unknown have approached the yard of the farm, adjacent to the A4410 and have siphoned 820 litres of diesel from 3 tractors
